Half Tree Wall Coat Rack – Reclaimed Mangosteen

The Mangosteen Half Tree Wall Coat Rack is a sustainable storage solution that utilizes the natural fork structure of reclaimed fruitwood to provide hanging space for coats, hats, and bags. Designed to maximize floor space, the trunk is cut in half to mount flat against the wall, projecting natural branches outward to serve as hooks. Each unit is sanded smooth and finished to highlight the dense grain and organic silhouette, arriving ready for installation in entryways, mudrooms, or boutique retail displays.

Sourced from Thai orchards, these racks are crafted from mangosteen trees that have finished their fruit-bearing cycle and would otherwise be burned. Local artisans reclaim the felled trunks, trimming and staining them to preserve their raw beauty while giving the material a second life. This process ensures that every rack is an eco-friendly, one-of-a-kind artifact with its own unique branch configuration and history.
