Antique Whitewash Teak Sliding Doors Sideboard

This display cabinet offers a serene and airy take on traditional Farmhouse Colonial cabinetry. Measuring 72 inches in length, this expansive console is handcrafted from solid, old-growth teakwood and finished in a custom whitewash patina. This finish allows the natural warmth and complex grain of the teak to subtly peek through, creating a soft, weathered aesthetic that complements Modern Farmhouse, Beach House, or Global Minimalist interiors. The piece features a rare, low-profile depth of only 13 inches, making it a “problem-solver” anchor for narrow corridors, entryways, or as a sophisticated media console beneath a flat screen. The four sliding glass doors operate on a smooth, integrated track—an ideal feature for small rooms where swinging doors might obstruct traffic. The internal shelving provides two levels of panoramic display, perfect for showcasing a library of design books or a collection of heritage ceramics.

As an authentic artisanal piece, it possesses a magnificent, hand-finished character. The whitewash is applied in layers to ensure depth, highlighting the sturdy mitered corners and the organic texture of the old teak wood. It is a piece that brings a sense of light and “collected” history to any contemporary home.
